  • A free class hosted by Scripps Cancer Center will combine yoga and sound therapy in a 60-minute experience focused on relaxation and rejuvenation. This event is geared toward cancer patients and their caregivers. Participants can choose to rest comfortably or gently move through simple stretches while receiving the healing benefits of sound from a variety of instruments: singing bowls, chimes, drums and gongs. Cushioned mats and bolster cushions are available for use. Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga blanket or light covering. Space is limited, please call in advance to register at 858-554-3488.   • Scripps Cancer Center will host a free men’s cancer support group to help participants connect with others going through similar experiences. It is open to men of all ages and all types of cancer diagnoses, and will provide a safe space for sharing experiences and offering mutual support. The group will meet virtually via Microsoft Teams and by phone, making it easy to participate from anywhere. To ensure everyone has an opportunity to share, each session is limited in size.
