Newly restored, but sadly neglected in the U.S., director Val Guest whips up a taut and twisting murder mystery based on Hilary Waugh’s novel Sleep Long, My Love. When a woman’s body is discovered at an isolated beach house, it’s up to two inspectors (Jack Warner, Ronald Lewis) to untangle a baffling web of clues. With Yolande Donlan. (60th Anniversary).
Film Forum Coronado is held in the Winn Room at the Coronado Public Library, twice a month, with a brief introduction before the film and a discussion afterward, led by Ralph DeLauro. This program is presented by the Coronado Public Library and the Coronado Island Film Festival.
