The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County fell four-tenths of a cent today to $3.136, the fifth decrease in seven days following a 19-day streak of rising prices.
The average price is 2 cents less than a week ago, but 14 cents more than a month ago and 14.1 cents more than this time last year, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The San Diego County average price fell three-tenths of a cent Thursday, rose one-tenth of a cent Friday, fell three-tenths of a cent Saturday, 1 cent Sunday and two-tenths of a cent Monday, then rose one-tenth of a cent Tuesday.
