Military Families Speak Out about Government Shutdown

Many servicemembers and their families are in a state of major anxiety at the thought of the government shutting down (because Congress and President Obama could not reach a budget deal before Friday's midnight deadline). Several publications have reported that members of the the military would not receive their paychecks if the federal government shuts down. Home Post readers have been very vocal in their concerns about what seems to be an impending situation, and I thought I'd share their comments.
