On Friday, June 20, Belmont Village La Jolla (3880 Nobel Dr.) will host its third annual bike-a-thon as part of The Longest Day, a nationwide event supporting the Alzheimer’s Association. From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., residents, staff, and community members will ride a recumbent bike in 15-minute shifts to honor those affected by Alzheimer’s and we’d love for you to be part of the action. Each ride symbolizes the daily challenges faced by those affected by the disease. With a $25 donation, anyone can ride alongside others, with proceeds benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association San Diego Chapter to help fund critical research and care.
