We are excited to welcome you to the Annual San Diego International Triathlon. This race is one of the longest-standing triathlons in the country and a Triathlete favorite. There are two distances to choose from an international course and a sprint course, whichever you choose you’re guaranteed a great race. Both races take place at the Spanish landing Park located on Harbor Drive across from the San Diego International Airport and finish at Ruocco Park Downtown San Diego. The race benefits Father Joe’s Villages, San Diego’s largest homeless services provider. Each day Father Joe’s Villages serves 3,000 meals provides housing, rental assistance, healthcare, food, clothing, education, job training, mental health, addiction treatment and child development services to our neighbors in need. Join us for Studio Arts, when OMA transforms into an artist’s studio, offering skill-building workshops led by distinguished professor and arts educator Robin Douglas. “Figure Drawing and Painting" Life drawing can be successful with so many styles and techniques. Real, abstract, and/or ideal figures can create emotional responses with the addition of color. Create several figure studies before painting a final piece of art. Dive into the world of video games at the San Diego Public Library’s 3rd annual Game Jam! Learn the basics of game development and design, then collaborate in teams to build your own game using Godot, RenPy, or Scratch. During the Game Jam, teams can work together remotely and/or in person to complete their projects and can attend optional drop-in sessions for instructor support. Games will be showcased and compete for prizes at the end of the jam. No experience is required. Registration is required. This program series is for youth in Grades 6 - 12.
