As a performer, his training and projects have taken him across the USA, Mexico, Canada, and Europe, performing in festivals such as soundSCAPE, SICPP, Darmstädter Ferienkurse, the Green Box Arts Festival, and Neofonía Festival de Música Nueva Ensenada. About Robert Bui: Robbie Bui is a versatile cellist, able to perform classical canon, pop improvisation, and contemporary avant-garde. He is grounded by an additional background in composition, and holds degrees from New England Conservatory and UC San Diego. Specializing in new music interpretation, he has been dedicated dozens of pieces as a soloist and chamber musician, and is recognized in ensembles such as East Coast Contemporary Ensemble, Palimpsest Ensemble, and Alinéa. Beyond cello, he’s a reliable pianist, good violinist, and not-so-good flutist. Beyond the stage, he works as the Patron Services and Office Manager of La Jolla Symphony and Chorus, and as a freelance portrait/event photographer. And beyond work, he learns languages, tailors clothes, cuts hair, and can make really great coffee.

With a Master’s in Social Psychology and degrees in Teaching, Health Promotion, and Organizational Development, Claude is fluent in English, French, German, and Italian, and continues to perfect her Spanish. - Kitty Morse, an award-winning author born in Casablanca, Morocco, intertwines personal history and culinary heritage in Bitter Sweet: A Wartime Journal and Heirloom Recipes from Occupied France. Inspired by family documents discovered after her mother’s passing in 2017, the memoir delves into her great-grandfather’s journal detailing the German advance in Le Grand Est (Alsace/Lorraine) in 1940, and her great-grandmother’s notebooks containing 65 heirloom recipes. The story unfolds in Nancy and "Châlons-en-Champagne," blending the cuisine bourgeoise of her Ashkenazi ancestors with poignant family history. Kitty’s maternal great-grandmother, Blanche Lévy-Neymarck, perished in Auschwitz, leaving a legacy of resilience, memory, and culinary artistry.
