Alison St John (Guest Host): The U.S. Senate began debating a new immigration reform proposal yesterday and promptly decided it is so complex they need to extend debate until after Memorial Day. It's a highly controversial issue and the time to reach consensus is short before presidential campaigning takes over the nation's attention.
