FM 94.9’s Michael Halloran Picks the Best New Alternative Music

Tom Fudge: Rock and roll is here to stay, but it keeps changing. That's why we invite Halloran to come to our studios to play us some tunes. This time of year turns out to be a big occasion for so-called "sophomore" albums, put out by a number of well-known bands. The Kooks, Gnarls Barkley, and The Raconteurs have all come out with their second albums. Meanwhile, that bunch of old men called R.E.M. has come out with their 14th collection of recorded songs.
