Struggling military families are receiving help from Operation Homefront. The non-profit organization is holding it’s annual “Back to School Brigade” this weekend.
Backpacks, pencils, binders and other supplies will be given to 1,000 children of military families.
Southern California chapter president Jay Anderson said the kids get to choose the supplies they want, and that’s especially important for military children.
Anderson said: “He or she doesn’t get to choose where they live because the family is ordered from place to place. They don’t get to choose when Mom or Dad is going to be deployed overseas. So, some of the routine things become extraordinary for them.”
The supplies will be distributed at the Kearny Mesa National Guard Armory, 7401 Mesa College Drive, on Saturday, and at Camp Pendleton on Sunday.

good thing we have these non-government organizations to extend help to those who were in need, what they've given to these military family will surely help them a lot..especially the kids who were very excited to go to school.. Anyway maybe you were also interested to know that discount sites such as Groupon and Living Social offer customers' ways to save serious money on purchases. The thrill might be leaving, as consumers and companies aren't that large of supporters of such sites as they used to be. It may actually end up being worth it to some consumers to get payday loans for these websites.
