A handwritten letter found in a Point Loma motel room four days after a military wife from Fallbrook disappeared describes how the victim was zapped with a Taser and strangled, according to a search warrant released today.

The note said that after killing 22-year-old Brittany Killgore in Fallbrook, the perpetrator drove to Lake Skinner in Riverside County and dumped the body.

When detectives burst into the motel room last April 17, they found 25-year-old Jessica Lynn Lopez naked from the waist up with blood on her body and cuts on her neck and left arm. Lopez is charged in Killgore's murder, along with a Camp Pendleton Marine and his girlfriend.

Authorities first thought the seven-page letter was a suicide note, according to the document. Based on information in the letter, authorities went to Riverside County and found Killgore's body.

Killgore went missing April 13, when she was supposed to go out to the Gaslamp Quarter in downtown San Diego with Marine Sgt. Louis Perez, who is also charged with her murder.

That night, Killgore texted the word "help'' to a friend, according to the second of two search warrants released today, along with two affidavits.

The next day, Perez, 45, was arrested on unrelated weapons charges. A subsequent inspection of his white Ford Explorer showed large amounts of fresh mud on the vehicle's undercarriage, according to one of the warrants.

Additionally, authorities found a plastic bag inside the Explorer.

Inside the bag was another plastic bag containing latex gloves and a stun baton. The bag and gloves were stained with a red substance confirmed to be Killgore's blood, according to one of the warrants.

Members of the Sheriff's Department served search warrants on a home at 317 E. Fallbrook St. where Perez's girlfriend, Dorothy Maraglino, and Lopez lived.

Several bondage type sex apparatuses, toys and tools were found, and one room appeared to be set up as some type of sex dungeon, according to the warrant.

Maraglino, 37, is also charged in Killgore's murder.

Killgore had filed for divorce from her Marine husband several days before her death.

A preliminary hearing for all three defendants is scheduled for Aug. 21.
