Three Carlsbad-Area Bridges Classified As ‘Structurally Deficient’
Wednesday, March 20, 2013
A private group out of Washington D.C. called Transportation for America compiled a list of bridges across the U.S. determining how structurally sound each one is.
Transportation for America listed three bridges in Carlsbad as structurally deficient:
- Carlsbad Blvd crossing Buena Vista Creek
- El Camino Real crossing Agua Hendionda Creek
- Carlsbad Blvd Southbound crossing Las Encinas Creek
The website classified "structurally deficient" as, "requiring significant maintenance, rehabilitation or replacement."
