Enjoy a preview of Expedition Baja, an exhibit that will take you on a journey with researchers through sky and sea islands, palm oases, and fog deserts as they discover new species, work to conserve native plants and animals, and explore the most remote parts of the Baja peninsula.
KPBS environmental reporter Erik Anderson will moderate a conversation with the NAT's curator of botany Dr. Jon Rebman and curator of herpetology Dr. Bradford Hollingworth about how climate change and biodiversity loss are impacting Baja, the importance of binational collaboration in conservation efforts, and the change in our local habitats and plant discoveries here in San Diego. Your ticket includes a reception with small bites and drinks.
There is no cost to attend. Space is limited and RSVP is required. To be added to the waitlist, email us at producersclub@kpbs.org.
