This week, the Port gave their blessing to a new Chargers stadium in National City. National City wants to build a 52-acre mixed-use stadium on the Bayfront. The site is controlled by the Port, who agreed that it would not impede maritime industries. The Port said they would not fund the stadium and must give final approval. KPBS’ Erik Anderson talks with reporters about the plan. Plus, we’ll discuss San Diego’s Propositions B and C on the November ballot, and get an update on the troubled San Diego Food Bank. We’ll also look at the apparent fleecing of taxpayers by the San Diego Workforce Partnership.
