Immigrant Entrepreneurs Increase in Numbers

Tom Fudge: Immigrants to this country have always been more likely than native-born Americans to start their own businesses. And today, the high-tech community relies on immigrants to fill its ranks of entrepreneurs. The proliferation of non-native entrepreneurs, in high-tech, is a reflection of the proliferation of foreigners in grad-school science and engineering classes. The ability of immigrants to achieve in the knowledge industry has caused some resentment among the native born. But that doesn't mean it's bad for business.
