Annual Shakespeare Festival Begins This Week

Alison St John (Guest Host): The Old Globe 's annual Summer Shakespeare Festival begins this week. This season the line up starts with Shakespeare's most analyzed play, Hamlet . It also includes Measure for Measure , a comedy morality play, also sometimes considered Shakespeare's sexiest work. Also, Two Gentlemen of Verona, a comic romance with, as in all Shakespeare’s plays, lessons in human nature.

The Old Globe's Shakespeare Festival runs through September 30th. The three plays will run in rotation, beginning with Hamlet .
