San Diego Wildfires Ravage Crops Around the Region
Tom Fudge: One of the victims of last week's fires was San Diego agriculture. It's a more than one-billion-dollar annual business. Two of San Diego’s big crops are avocados and cut flowers. Both of them were hit by this year's fires. In fact, some estimate that as much as 20 percent of local avocado groves were damaged or destroyed.
