Local Reporter Gives Insight on McCain's Presidential Campaign
Tom Fudge: News about the race for president has taken a backseat lately to the crisis of the credit markets. In fact, John McCain announced yesterday that he would suspend his campaign, for the time being, to devote himself to the big issue at hand.
NPR's business correpondent Scott Horley has been splitting his time between covering the financial bailout and covering the McCain campaign. You may know that this is the second presidential race Scott has covered. He covered the John Kerry campaign for president four years ago.
Scott's been kind enough to come into KPBS studios to talk about covering this year's race.
