Budget Problems Reduce Options at CA Colleges, Universities
Maureen Cavanaugh: Among the areas hard hit by the recession, and the state's budget deficit are California's institutions of higher education. With applications to state universities at an all-time high, California is turning away thousands of qualified applicants. We'll hear what that means to San Diego county's community colleges, to the people who need re-training after being laid off from their jobs, and to the young students trying to plan their college futures.
