The Use of Alternative Medicine is Growing in the Veterinary Practice
Alison St. John: Pet lovers listen up. It's that time again when we devote a These Days segment to our animal companions and talk with experts about ways to keep them healthy and happy. We know alternative medicine offers effective remedies for all sorts of ailments in people. So, why not animals? Integrative medicine, as it's sometimes called, is offered by some veterinarians and we have two of them in studio with us today. They use acupuncture for pets suffering from arthritis and Chinese herbs for other ailments. What do you think about using alternative medicine on animals?
