Her first "The Timer Game," introduced protagonist Grace Descanso, a crime scene technician.  And her follow up novel, "Out At Night," being released today, follows Grace Descanso through a plot that includes a masked crossbow assassin, and a suspected eco-terrorist who runs a tattoo parlor all set right here in San Diego.

Susan Arnout Smith, author of "Out at Night," will be at  Mysterious Galaxy Books on Thursday, March 4, 2009, at 7 pm.
