Parenting in a pandemic is no easy feat.

Families are stuck at home trying to juggle work and school and all the rest of what life is throwing at us.

Lisa Howe is a parenting coach who, once the stay-at-home orders hit, launched a “Peaceful Parenting in a Pandemic” online support group twice a week. And most nights, the group is packed with parents sharing both struggles and successes.

In a new episode of "The Pandemic Pivot" pop-up series, Howe joins host Kinsee Morlan to talk about how she's helping folks stop the yelling and become a peaceful parent, even in the middle of a pandemic.

For struggling parents, there are resources out there. Parents can call 211 or go to 211sandiego.org to find help. And parentsplace.jfcs.org has a great list of free remote parenting classes, counseling for kids and more.
