The organizers behind Ocean Beach Oktoberfest announce the return of their annual event set for October 7 to 8 in Ocean Beach where Newport meets the beach. The all day and night, two day event will feature live music from both local and nationally touring artists (full lineup and headliner coming soon), a 4:20 happy hour, a liquid brunch featuring drag performers, Oktoberfest-themed contests and games including a Mr. & Mrs. Oktoberfest competition, the traditional stein holding contest, a cornhole tournament, brat eating and more. Attendees 21+ can head into the beer garden featuring traditional German brews, local beer, wine and spirits. Proceeds support the Ocean Beach MainStreet Association and The Peninsula Alliance. Live music and drinks will be flowing on Friday, 4:20 p.m. - 11 p.m. and Saturday, 11 a.m - 11 p.m. Tickets to attend San Diego’s Wildest Oktoberfest are $10 and can be purchased at the door.
