The day starts with a free clinic by a pickleball pro followed by various skill level tournaments. The top two teams from each tournament will then compete on Center Court for awards and bragging rights! Top fundraising teams will also be acknowledged too! Jefferson Parker, Jim Kempton Join the Friends of the Oceanside Public Library on Sunday, October 13, from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for an “Authors, Wine & Hors d ‘Oeuvres” event featuring local Edgar Award winning author T. Jefferson Parker, and California Surf Museum Director, Jim Kempton. All proceeds benefit the Oceanside Public Library. In addition to sipping wine and sampling hors d ’Oeuvres, there will be the opportunity to bid on a variety of silent auction items including a two-day stay at an Airbnb in Oceanside, museum memberships, paintings by local artists and much more.
