  • Resonance is a free, all-ages event hosted by St. Brigid’s Episcopal Church and Oceanside Theatre Company, that builds community through creative expression. Held in OTC's Studio 219 (219 North Coast Highway), this is a space for all creatively-inclined people — artists, musicians, writers, and more — to showcase their work and to practice spontaneous creation together. It’s not quite an open mic, jam session, drum circle, or art night — but it has elements of all of these. All are welcome to participate as much or as little as they choose. If you’d prefer to just come and enjoy the vibe and performances, you are welcome to do that too. Visit: Resonance Collaborative Open Mic Oceanside Theater Company on Instagram and Facebook
  • The Town Hall CA48 Deserves — Even If Darrell Issa Won’t Show Up Join Indivisible North County San Diego and our powerful coalition of regional grassroots groups for a dynamic, people-powered congressional town hall—the kind Representative Darrell Issa refuses to hold. In 2025, many Republican House members—including Issa—are dodging public accountability. They’re avoiding traditional town halls because they don’t want to answer tough questions about their voting records, their ties to extremist policies, and their refusal to represent the will of their constituents. But we believe democracy demands better. That’s why Rep. Sara Jacobs (CA-51) is stepping up and standing in. In a bold act of solidarity, she’s agreed to take questions from CA48 residents, speak directly to the issues impacting our community, and help strategize ways we can pressure Darrell Issa to do his job—or get out of the way. Have something to say? Submit your questions in advance for Rep. Jacobs. Submit your questions here. Want to make change? Show up, speak out, and stand together. This event will fill up fast. Reserve your spot today—because representation isn’t optional.
