  • As part of OTC at the Brooks’ new film series, Movies at The Brooks, "Jesus Christ Superstar" kicks off the lineup with two free screenings on Easter Sunday at 12:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. With the support of a generous grant from Las Patronas, OTC is proud to bring cinema back to the historic Sunshine Brooks Theater (217 North Coast Highway, Oceanside, CA), now equipped with a state-of-the-art screen and projector. Jesus Christ Superstar is a 1973 American musical historical drama directed by Norman Jewison and co-written by Jewison and Melvyn Bragg. Based on the 1970 concept album by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, the film stars Ted Neeley, Carl Anderson, Yvonne Elliman, and Barry Dennen. Enjoy access to all exhibitions, trivia in the Atrium at 7 p.m., and our rooftop deck for good views and great vibes. The rooftop is open to all visitors and serves beer, wine, non-alcoholic drinks and food from Wolf in the Woods—you can get a look at the menu below. With bars on several floors, sip a signature cocktail as you leisurely explore the Museum. Or grab some artisan tacos, conchas or paletas, and amazing coffee drinks from The Craft Taco in our Atrium. On select dates, enjoy getting crafty with our friends from Sketchparty (usually the third Friday of the month). Admission is half-price after 5 PM. You can buy your tickets in advance online or buy them at the door the night of. As always, members of The Nat and Explorer pass holders enjoy free general admission.
