Imagine a society where everything is a renewable resource. Sound unlikely? Not in the Zero Waste movement, where the concept of trash is obsolete. San Diego County has a long way to go, however. San Diegans throw away enough recyclables to fill up Petco park fives times each year. Most of that stuff instead goes to Miramar Landfill, which is predicted to fill up by 2012.
