Tom Fudge: The Iraq war has not resulted in a huge number of deaths of American soldiers. But many have been wounded, some seriously. Needless to say, losing fingers, limbs, facial features, or suffering brain injuries, makes it harder to get a job. And that's what people who leave the service eventually need to do.
