This American Life: The Road to Television

Tom Fudge: Tonight, This American Life takes on a new life -- on television. The Peabody Award-winning radio program airs at 6:00 p.m. every Sunday on KPBS radio. But, tonight the Showtime network will begin airing a TV version of it. The first episode is called, ‘Reality Check,’ and I’m joined now by the creator, host and executive producer of This American Life , Ira Glass.

This American Life makes its television debut tonight on the Showtime cable channel.
