Here's one last post about "District 9" (currently in theaters). Here are more highlights from the Comic-Con panel on "District 9" with producer Peter Jackson, director Neill Blomkamp, and actor Sharlto Copley. I mainly posted this because you can also see footage from the film in case you're still not sure about seeing it.
I enjoyed the "District 9" panel at Comic-Con and it was the panel with the footage shown that really got me excited about the movie. Apparently I wasn't the only one. The film topped the box office this past weekend with something in the neighborhood of $37 million. That's not as big as "Transformers 2" but considering the film had little mainstream hype and a budget of only $30 million, that's not bad. So once again I'll get on my soapbox and urge you to go check out this film.
