The winning artist of this year's Doodle 4 Google contest is Sabrina Brady, a military brat from Wisconsin. The high school senior's drawing illustrates her homecoming with her father after his 18-month deployment in Iraq.

Doodle 4 Google is a contest held each year that invites K-12 students across the United States to draw a design that will appear on Google's homepage.

This year's theme was "My Best Day Ever..." Sabrina told the Today Show that her entry was inspired by her reunion with her father when she was just ten-years-old:

"He was gone...in my critical point, when every little girl has their, like, daddy moment. I lost him in the middle of mine… I missed him."

Sabrina's drawing beat out 130,000 other entries to win. According to Google's official blog:

Her creative use of the Google letters to illustrate this heartfelt moment clearly resonated with voters across the country and all of us at Google.
