On this Memorial Day, many people will be remembering their loved ones who died in the line of duty. On the web, there is a special site to post remembrances of friends and family who died in the Vietnam War.
The site is run by a park service volunteer who works at the Vietnam Veterans' Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C.
Jim Schueckler wanted to give friends and family of Vietnam Vets the opportunity to honor their loved ones in writing. So, he created the Virtual Wall.
Schueckler says people can post poems, pictures and stories on the site. And he says relatives and friends of vets have connected through the site.
Schueckler: That's probably the most emotional, when people have connected. Like the daughter of a man who died in Vietnam being able to be in touch by e-mail of a buddy who was with her father on the day that he died.
