In the final part of our series on the Race to Space, we take a look at the future economic impact of commercial space flight on California and the world. Next week, NASA will award a $500 million contract to build a new space craft to shuttle crew and cargo to the International Space station in 2010.
A company in Poway, Space Dev, and another company in El Segundo, Space X are in the running. Some say the deal could set the stage for a new infusion of capitol into the Aerospace Industry.
