Microbrews Add Local Flavor to San Diego's Beer
San Diego is known for fish tacos, margaritas, the beach, the sunshine, but does it have a reputation for great beer? Most people would not say that San Diego is now Milwaukee on the Pacific. In fact, most local brewers would probably cringe to have their beers compared with the light, fizzy lagers of the old Wisconsin breweries.
San Diego has quickly become a national capital of microbrews. And the beer that typifies this trend is Stone, which just celebrated its tenth anniversary.
