Trials begin next month in some of the more than 150 lawsuits filed against the San Diego Catholic Diocese alleging sexual abuse by priests. This week, a judge rejected the church’s attempt to have the cases tossed out. We invited a spokesman and a lawyer for the diocese to be interviewed for Full Focus. Both declined. Reporter Amita Sharma interviewed attorney Irwin Zalkin, who represents some of the people claiming priests molested them.
