Crime Web Site Empowers Residents

It's one of the few Web sites in the nation that compiles data for multiple cities and towns. The MAPS project, short for the San Diego County Regional Crime Mapping Application for Public Safety, enables citizens to look up crimes, arrests, burglaries and other data in their neighborhood. The updated crime mapping site launched last July at mapping.arjis.org . Full Focus reporter Rebecca Tolin learns to map out crime.
