Dizzys Jazz Venue Closes for Earthquake Retrofitting
Alison St John (Guest Host): For Jazz purists, Dizzy's on Seventh Avenue, between San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter and the East Village, has been a haven of good music. Its slogan is "Dizzy's, where the music matters most." But this month the venue closed down unexpectedly – unexpectedly for patrons at least. - Chuck Perrin , founder and operator of Dizzy's , a popular venue for jazz performance in downtown San Diego.
