Presidential primaries in Nevada and South Carolina are right around the corner. Will we have a clearer picture of who the front-runners are for the Republican and Democratic nominations by the end of the month? Plus, the San Diego Chargers are gearing up for their AFC Ch38ionship game against the New England Patriots this Sunday. Could a Super Bowl berth for the Bolts help the team reach an agreement to build a new stadium in Chula Vista?

And, the San Diego City Council decide to place a handful of changes to the City Charter on the 2008 and 2010 ballots. What are the proposed changes, and how might those changes alter the structure of City government?
