AARP CEO Balances Tough Economic Times With Financial Security for Seniors
Tom Fudge: The aging of America is a fact that we're still getting used to. It's not an alarming trend, necessarily. But it certainly holds some potential problems. As the bulge of the baby boom nears retirement, pensions get strained, not to mention health care costs. One interest group that's right smack in the middle of this situation is AARP . Their mission is to “help people over 50 have independence, choice and control in ways that are beneficial and affordable to them and society.” If you've reached age 50 you may see their magazine show up on your doorstep.
