Mike Sager is known as one of the new breed of new journalists. He writes regularly for
about the lives of the famous and the non-famous. He becomes intimately familiar with the people and lives he profiles. In a sense, he moves in with his sources to get the sense of the rhythms of their everyday lives. New journalism seeks to bring a literary flair to reporting. And some of its leading lights, such as Tom Wolfe, have gone on to write novels. Now, Mike Sager has done the same.
