Tom Fudge: The candidates for President have been spending a lot of time talking about the ailing economy. And no wonder. But one issue that also, always comes up in the Presidential election is the power of the President to appoint federal judges. In fact, in the next few years we can expect the President to replace a number of Supreme Court justices. This will give either Barack Obama or John McCain a lot of power to determine what American jurisprudence will be.
