Camp Pendleton Bomb Scare Suspect Surrenders (Video)

The Camp Pendleton Navy medic who base officials say made a bomb threat has turned himself in. Camp Pendleton spokesman Master Sgt. Mark Oliva tells Fox News that 22-year-old Daniel Morgan surrendered at a base hospital.

The Orange County Sheriff's Department told KABC-TV that when Morgan failed to report to work, base officials searched his home and found a note that claimed he'd put an explosive device on San Clemente High School grounds.

Today was the first day of school at the campus. According to the school's website, students were evacuated to the outdoor football stadium, and then to the gym because of hot weather. All the students have since gone home. But Fox News reports the search for explosives on campus continues.
