Chapter Synopsis
Tacho sat at a plywood table in a small green room. He had a black eye and a fat lip, possibly a loose tooth. An agent walked into the room and admitted there had been some sort of misunderstanding. They had called around Sinaloa and found out La Mano Caída was a restaurant owned and operated by Mr. Tacho Lora, and that his driver’s license corresponded with this. The agent apologized for any harm he may have accidentally received when resisting arrest, and Tacho boarded the bus back to Mexico.
Back in Tijuana, Tacho called Irma and found out the girls had gone to Matt’s house. He told her he will find a way into San Diego to find his girls. He got in a taxi and went to a gay bar. He met a man named Rigoberto at the bar as he was sipping down a second apple martini. He told Rigoberto his story. The boys flirted and Rigoberto told him he was a doctor and invited him back to his place to take a look at his lip. They get in his BMW and Tacho is asleep in minutes. When they arrive Rigoberto wakes Tacho and he asks to take a shower.
