SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Warmer than usual temperatures are expected in the inland valleys, mountains and deserts of San Diego County this weekend.
According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will be 5 to 15 degrees warmer than normal for this time of year, with Saturday being the hottest day.
Highs on Saturday are expected to range from 83 to 93 degrees in the inland valleys, 78 to 90 in the mountains, 106 to 111 in the lower deserts and 92 to 100 in the high deserts.
"The heat may adversely affect those working or playing outdoors, the elderly, the young or the sick,'' an NWS advisory said.
The agency encouraged residents to avoid strenuous outdoor activity, if possible.
