'Man In The Window' Tells Untold Story Of The Golden State Killer Case

A new podcast by the Los Angeles Times tells the untold story of the origins of the Golden State Killer and the man police now believe is responsible for a dozen rapes and four dozen rapes across California in the 1970s.

A new podcast by the Los Angeles Times tells the untold story of the origins of the Golden State Killer and the man police now believe is responsible for a dozen murders and four dozen rapes across California in the 1970s.

"Man in the Window" includes never before revealed details and interviews with survivors, investigators and the former teenage fiance of the suspect in the case, Joseph DeAngelo.

DeAngelo, a former police officer, was arrested last year in connection with the Golden State Killer case.

Pulitzer-Prize winning investigative journalist Paige St John, host of "Man in the Window," joins Midday Edition Tuesday to discuss what she's learned about why the Golden State Killer may have been so hard to stop.
