State Assemblyman Todd Gloria has spent the last four years representing San Diegans in Sacramento.

Now, he wants to come back to city government, where he served eight years on the San Diego City Council and also served as interim mayor after Mayor Bob Filner resigned amid a sexual harassment scandal.

Gloria is one of four leading candidates in the race to replace Republican Mayor Kevin Faulconer. He's running against two fellow Democrats, San Diego City Councilwoman Barbara Bry and community activist Tasha Williamson, along with Republican City Councilman Scott Sherman. The top two vote-getters in the March primary will advance to the November general election.
