The folks at Midway openly enjoy toying with us by slowly trickling out names of the new characters in their games. In a Thursday panel dedicated to MK vs. DC , they announced that the Joker and Green Lantern would be jumping in the game. & They also announced that Jax and Kitana would be let out of their cages for the game.
Plus, if you get your hands on one of the limited edition copies of the game, you'll be treated to an MK vs. DC comic book, illustrated by John Tobias, who's working with Jimmy Palmiotti on the game. &
These characters will join those already announced: Batman, Superman, the Flash, and Catwoman from DC as well as Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Sonya, Shang Tsung, and Liu Kang from MK.
I didn't hear if the Joker would be bringing a magic pen trick to his fights or not.
