New Star Wars Figures: The Droid Conspiracy
I'm not a purist. I take my action figures out of the package. I buy damaged boxes at a discount whenever possible. But like I said, Hasbro has my number. Every once and a while, they'll release a $40 spaceship with a custom droid. I only want the droid. A $30 set of 6 figures comes out, I only want the droid. That's why eBay is my friend for this. Someone is always selling that droid loose. But now, Hasbro has the best gimmick ever, at least for parting me with my well-earned money. It's called & ldquo;Build-a-Droid & rdquo;. Inside every figure, there is a piece of a droid. You can mix and match pieces to make any number of different droids. AAAARRRRGGGG! I don't want to buy all these figures. I don't need any more members of Jaba the Hutt's entourage. I don't want any more cantina aliens. I haven't read the comics, so extended universe doesn't mean much to me. So now I have to make a decision. Evil geniuses & hellip; That's what they are.
