Chula Vista's little league world champions returned to school today. The players were welcomed back by hundreds of screaming students and teachers.
The entire school packed the auditorium. Principal Tom Rodrigo compiled a list of student questions for the boys to answer, like, 'What was the best part of the World Series when you were not playing baseball?'
The school's newspaper, The Royal Reporter, had journalists on the scene too -- getting the scoop from players Bradley Roberto and Oscar Castro.
Student Journalist: What do you most admire about your teammates?
Roberto: That we're all tight friends, and we all get along with each other, and we all know how to play baseball really good.
Castro: We’ve gotten real used to each other. We’ve gotten real close. There’s good chemistry on the team which is hard to find.
Castro and Roberto say it's not so bad now.
Roberto: Yeah, the first interview you feel really pressured. And then you start getting used to it.
Castro: Yeah, after time and time again, you get used to it. It just comes normal now.
