Western Nations Assail Zimbabwe Crackdown

Many nations are offering fresh criticism of Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe's hard-line tactics. Police recently cracked down on a prayer meeting organized by the opposition, severely beating the leader of the Movement for Democratic Change. Chris Maroleng, a senior researcher at the Institute for Security Studies, offers his insights on the situation in Zimbabwe in a conversation with Renee Montagne.
